Remove AI metadata before uploading to Etsy

Images prepared for listing photos, shop updates and digital product previews often pass through several apps. Each export can add EXIF, XMP, IPTC or Content Credentials, so inspect the exact final file to understand what will be shared.

Use the full cleaner when the distribution copy should omit private metadata and provenance. Choose AI-only cleaning when camera information must remain, or use the dedicated GPS tool when location is the only concern.

No metadata utility can guarantee a decision by Etsy. A platform may also use pixel watermarks, visual classifiers, account disclosures or information retained from an earlier upload.

Archive an untouched provenance copy, make a separate sharing derivative, inspect the download and only then select it in Etsy. Apply the same workflow to every file in a carousel, gallery or listing.
